Once a year you need a thorough roof inspection.  Now is the perfect time to do this before winter sets in.  Doing a little maintenance now while the weather is still pleasant will help keep your roof in top condition and get it ready to handle the winter cold.

First you need to clear your gutters of accumulated leaves and other debris.  If you have lots of trees, make sure to keep your gutters clear throughout the fall.  If leaves are left to accumulate in the gutters, they clog your downspouts and hold moisture which promotes wood rot, mold and mildew.
